1. Who is responsible
This website is run by:
Social Concierge GmbH
c/o Impact Hub Zürich AG
Sihlquai 131, 8005 Zürich, Switzerland
UID: CHE-130.149.736
Email: info@socialconcierge.ch
If you have questions about your data, just write to that address.
2. What data we collect
Contact form: when you send a message, we receive your name, company (optional), email, the type of organisation you selected and your message. We only use this to answer your request and, if we work together, to handle the collaboration.
Email: if you email us directly, we use your data the same way.
Website visits: when you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data, such as IP address, browser, device, pages visited and time of visit. This keeps the site secure and working, and gives us anonymous visitor statistics.
Cookies: the site uses necessary cookies so it works properly. Statistics or other optional cookies are only used if you agree in the cookie banner.
3. Service providers we use
Squarespace (Squarespace Ireland Ltd., Dublin, and Squarespace Inc., New York, USA): website hosting, contact form and statistics.
Weglot (Weglot SAS, France): translation of the website.
Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin, and Google LLC, USA): receiving and managing emails.
Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland, including in the USA. In that case, the transfer relies on recognised safeguards, such as the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the authorities.
4. Links to social media
The site has links to Instagram and LinkedIn. No data is sent to these platforms until you click a link. Once you’re on their sites, their own privacy policies apply.
5. How long we keep data
We keep contact requests as long as we need them to handle your request. If no collaboration follows, we delete them after 24 months at the latest. When we work together, legal retention periods apply (for example, 10 years for accounting documents).
6. Your rights
Under the Swiss Data Protection Act (and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation), you can ask:
what data we have about you
to have it corrected or deleted
to restrict its use, or object to it
to receive your data in a common format
If you’re based in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Switzerland, that’s the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
To use any of these rights, just email info@socialconcierge.ch.
7. Legal basis (for visitors from the EU)
We process contact requests to answer them and to prepare a possible collaboration (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We process technical data for the secure running of the site (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Optional cookies are only used with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
8. Changes
We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always on this page.
